1. Agreement

By accessing or using Instanswer ("Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Instanswer allows businesses to create AI-powered chatbots trained on their website content. The chatbots can be embedded on customer websites to answer visitor questions automatically.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@instanswer.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to crawl websites you do not own or have permission to crawl
Generate or distribute harmful, illegal, or misleading content
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
Resell or sublicense the Service without prior written consent
Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws

5. Plans, Billing and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Free Plan

The free plan includes a "Powered by Instanswer" watermark on the chat widget. Removing this watermark requires a paid subscription.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you provide. By using the Service, you grant Instanswer a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Anthropic, OpenAI, Supabase, and Firecrawl. Your use of the Service is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Instanswer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified by email with at least 14 days' notice.
